Will van drivers stop buying the Ford Transit?

Last month it was revealed that several of Ford’s production sites were to close, including the major Southampton plant which is notable for producing the Ford Transit. Ford is also closing part of its Dagenham plant as well as a large factory in Genk, Belgium resulting in the loss of over 4300 jobs.

Fraikin will Now Hire Trucks to Environcom

Fraikin is a commercial vehicle fleet management and maintenance company and they have just landed a five year contract with Environcom. They are the country’s largest recycling company and they will now be supplied with three trucks.

Light Commercial Vehicles LCV Values Increase

Last month saw another increase in prices for light commercial vehicles of 2.3 per cent. LCV Values are now £99 higher than they were during the same month of last year. This is according to the latest Pulse report from the BCA.
