Telephone systems supplier TWL Voice & Data have taken delivery of five long-bodied Mercedes-Benz Vitos. When they retired a percentage of their Mercedes-Benz Vito vans, they did not think twice about replacing them with new updated versions of the same commercial van from close neighbour Euro Commercials.
The new vans are comprised of one Vito 116CDI Sport, one Vito 113CDI and three Vito 113CDI panel vans. All five will be added to the company commercial van insurance policy and are the subject of a highly flexible Agility funding package from Mercedes-Benz Financial Services. The funding package offers all the benefits of conventional hire purchase along with a GFV (Guaranteed Future Value). At the end of the agreement TWL can choose whether to pay off the final lump sum and keep the van, use the van as a part exchange for a brand new one, or return it free of any further obligations, apart from an excess mileage charge and any damage charges over and above what is considered fair wear and tear.
TWL Marketing Manager Andrew Hirst said: “Our previous Vito models were superbly reliable. Euro Commercials have also looked after us very well, their out-of-hours servicing facility being particularly useful, so we had no hesitation in sticking with Mercedes-Benz. Our new vehicles are even better than their predecessors. The Euro 5 engines are cleaner and more economical, and they have extra standard specification details such as multi-function steering wheels which control their Bluetooth telephone systems, cruise controls and speed limiters. We’ve also added optional parking sensors.”
After recent rebranding, TWL have had the new company logo added to the vans that that are now highly visible mobile advertisements for the business when they’re out on the road. The Vitos will be used by TWL’s engineers, who visit customer premises to install telephone systems and data cabling throughout South Wales along with some parts of England.
